Byron P. McCrae

Byron P. McCrae is a college administrator and educator.  As a doctoral student in Fordham University’s educational leadership, administration, and policy program, Byron studied the creative ways educators and policymakers have begun to address and overcome the gross inequalities in our educational system that have kept many students from succeeding in school and in life.  After earning his PhD from Fordham, Byron has assumed senior leadership positions at prestigious institutions of higher education.  These positions have enabled him to promote student access to higher education and afforded him opportunities to develop and implement programs to facilitate student success and achievement.  Byron finds himself constantly inspired by Points mission, and constantly impressed also by the scholars and their accomplishments.  Byron has served Point in several capacities, from scholar selection to helping coordinate one of Point's first Regional Leadership Forums.
